Mary Rose Type 1.5 Boots

The Mary Rose, which sank in 1545, yielded a number of interesting high boots of different designs. After the Type 2.1 boot this time I built built a pair of the Type 1.5 Boots. These are a welted construction as well with a round toe and a peaked top edge. Compared to the Type 2.1, it has a plain vamp with no additional fastenings. Full height is about 60cm, but they may also be worn with the top folded down.
