Box Loom After John Drissel

Every now and then I accidentally stumble across things that I find so nice and intriguing I just simply have to (re)build them. Here it was 2 box or tape looms I found, one in the Winterthur Museum , the other in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, from the late 18th century and made by the same man, a certain John Drissel. Not much seems to be known about him, but he certainly made nice stuff and painted and lettered that beautifully, too!
So here is a box loom in John Drissel fashion to join my wife's 18th century equipment.
