Mainz Caliga No. 4

One of the reportedly 23 caligae type shoes found in the middle of the 19th century during excavations in the city of Mainz, Germany.

Lacing tabs are still a bit too long and will be cut to final size after breaking them in and adjusting cut out lengths. Nailing pattern after contemporary find.
