Saalburg No. 209 Ramshaw Boots

A pair of Ramshaw type boots fashioned after the find No. 209 from the Saalburg, Germany. Variants do occur, differing both in height and in how much of the vamp they cover. This one features only 2 pairs of lacing holes. Nailing pattern from that same find. Similar shoes have also been found at Vindolanda.
